As a Technology Assessment Lead you’ll lead the evaluation, exploration, and testing of breakthrough technologies from around the world — identifying opportunities that could transform our Innovation pipeline and strengthen our product portfolio from consumer, strategic, and intellectual property perspectives. You’ll also play a key role in driving the conversations that matter, managing and running the Front-End Innovation team’s most important decision‑shaping forums across the business.
Principle Accountabilities
- Take a leading role in assessing and recommending new technology solutions for all our three core categories, with a focus on consumable technology.
- Focussing on technologies external to Imperial's business.
- Build and manage a strong network of external partners with technologies and capabilities to support Imperial's innovation strategy, being the point of contact for the Imperial business with respect to assessment projects.
- Build and manage key internal working relationships with supporting functions to ensure effective assessment project delivery.
