Regulatory Writer plays a key role in shaping how Imperial Brands’ Next Generation Products (NGP) reach global markets. Join an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees and turn complex scientific and technical insights into clear, compelling, and compliant regulatory submissions that support product launches and ongoing market success. This is a chance to influence how innovative products are introduced worldwide while working closely with experts across science, product development, and regulatory affairs. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.
Principle Accountabilities
- Develop high‑quality regulatory narratives that are comprehensive, well‑structured, and grounded in relevant product, scientific, and harm‑reduction data.
- Identify regulatory submission requirements and clearly communicate them to project teams and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Collaborate closely with technical SMEs to collect, interpret, and format the information required to support regulatory submissions across global markets.
- Ensure the quality, timelines, accuracy, and compliance of all submissions, in line with internal governance processes and external regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing responses to regulatory queries, including requests for further information or deficiency letters, delivering clear explanations, additional evidence, or supporting data.
- Maintain a strong, up‑to‑date understanding of product categories, regulatory frameworks, and emerging scientific developments relevant to the NGP portfolio.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in a scientific industry.
- Highly competent in scientific writing and technical documents preparation.
- Ability to work collaboratively to coordinate required inputs from various channels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Planning and completing work to agreed standards and timelines.
- Highly computer literate, with the ability to interpret and analyse data, process large amounts of information and format documents.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
