We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our industry-leading Field Sales team as a Regional Field Sales Executive, initially on a 12-month fixed-term basis. Your territory includes: Hartlepool, Darlington, Stockton, and surrounding areas.
We are looking for a Regional Field Sales Executive who can use their own initiative alongside working as part of a team. We want you to make the role your own! You will have flexibility and a role where no two days are the same. To ensure your success, we offer unrivalled training and a mentoring scheme. This is a field-based role, and you will need to be able to travel to customer sites and ideally reside in Hartlepool, Darlington, or Stockton. All candidates must hold a valid Full UK driving licence.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Deliver on the business's KPIs across Key Accounts, Key Accounts Wholesale, and Independent Retailers
- Build an in-depth knowledge of customer needs and shopper dynamics
- Partner with up to 300 retail Key Account, Independent, and Wholesale outlets in your area, establishing excellent relationships within your territory through various Key Accounts Operations Teams, Independent Retailers, and key contacts within wholesalers, engaging in value-add conversations to promote new products that meet customer needs
- Build customer advocacy for our brands by educating retailers about the market and industry legislation
- Achieve sales, market share, distribution, availability, and coverage targets within your defined area, ensuring trade incentives and activities are effectively utilized
- Identify new business opportunities by enhancing knowledge of the category and shopper behavior in-store
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous and/or current face-to-face sales experience within an FMCG business
- Experience in building face-to-face relationships
- Excellent communication and people skills, with proven ability to build rapport quickly
- Team player with an understanding of wider team goals and impact
- Self-supportive, managing time and resources effectively; able to act independently when required
- Ability to set and meet challenging targets
What we offer:
- Annual salary of £33,000 (£40,000 OTE)
