Imperial Brands have an exciting opportunity for a driven and passionate Regional Field Sales Executive to join our industry‑leading Field Sales team covering Blairgowrie and Aberdeen, Scotland. As a Regional Field Sales Executive, you’ll be at the heart of our business, representing our brands directly in the field and making an impact every day. No two days will be the same: one day you might be introducing new products to independent retailers, the next you could be strengthening partnerships with key wholesale accounts.

This is a field‑based role, and you will need to be able to travel to your customers’ sites across Scotland. You will ideally live between Blairgowrie and Aberdeen or surrounding areas to make it easier to travel to your customers’ sites. All candidates must hold a valid Full driving licence.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Drive business across Retail Independent, Convenience, Multiple stores, Key Accounts and Wholesale.
  • Partner with retail outlets in your area, establishing excellent relationships within your territory; through a range of Key Accounts Operations Teams to Retailers and key contacts within wholesaler, having value‑adding conversations to sell in new products to meet the customer’s identified needs.
  • Drive customer advocacy for our brands by achieving sales, market share, distribution, availability, and coverage targets within defined area.
  • Identify and communicate merchandising opportunities to your customers to help ensure the best possible space allocation and visibility of Imperial brands on shelf.
  • Identify new business opportunities by having a great understanding of the category and shopper behaviour in-store.
  • Achieve sales, market share, distribution, availability, and coverage targets within your defined area and ensure that our trade incentives and activities are put to the best use.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Previous and/or current face‑to‑face sales experience within a FMCG business.
  • Experienced in building face‑to‑face relationships and selling a product/service to retailers.
  • Able to set and meet self‑stretching targets.
  • Have excellent communication and people skills, and proven ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Be a supportive team player with an understanding of wider team goals and how you can impact them.
  • Pro‑active, able to manage time and resources effectively; and be able to use your initiative and work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
