We are looking for a driven and passionate Regional Field Sales Executive to join our industry‑leading Field Sales team in the North East, initially on a 12 month fixed‑term contract.
This field‑based role requires regular travel to Newcastle, Morpeth, Westerhope, Ashington, Alnwick, Berwick upon Tweed and surrounding areas. You should ideally live in Newcastle or the surrounding area and hold a valid Full UK driving licence.
Principle Accountabilities- Deliver on the business's KPI's across key accounts – wholesale and independent retailers.
- Build an in‑depth knowledge of customer needs and shopper dynamics.
- Partner with retail independent and wholesale outlets, establishing excellent relationships within your territory, and have value‑add conversations to sell new products.
- Build customer advocacy for our brands by educating retailers and providing industry legislation insight.
- Achieve sales, market share, distribution, availability, and coverage targets, ensuring trade incentives and activities are optimised.
- Identify new business opportunities by enhancing knowledge of the category and shopper behaviour in‑store.
- Previous and/or current face‑to‑face sales experience, preferably within FMCG.
- Experience building face‑to‑face relationships and selling products/services to retailers.
- Able to set and meet self‑stretching targets.
- Excellent communication and people skills, proven ability to build rapport quickly.
- Team player with an understanding of wider team goals and impact.
- Pro‑active, able to manage time and resources effectively; able to use initiative in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- Annual salary of ÂŁ33,000 (ÂŁ40,000 OTE).
