The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

FTC (until September 2026) Imperial Brands is currently undergoing a strategic transformation to become a consumer-centric organisation and the new Global Insights function will be a crucial driving force behind this change, placing consumer preferences and demands at the centre of commercial decision making to gain competitive advantage.

This role will define, create and coordinate the delivery of standardised and bespoke reporting content in a timely and accurate fashion, that meets the needs of the business and elevates the quality and relevance of actionable consumer insights to drive better informed decision-making.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Work with the Head of Reporting to support in prioritising reporting requests.
  • Work alongside the Data Strategy team to gain an expert understanding of all data sources stored within the HIVE global data lake.
  • Understand the methods used to create and structure of the HIVE and how it can be used to generate insightful reporting that meets the needs of stakeholders.
  • Engage with the GCO and Market Insights teams to gain a deep knowledge of their insight generation needs and key business processes.
  • Engage with key stakeholders during initiation, development and post-delivery, helping them to fully leverage the benefits and advantages to be gained from the functionalities and harmonised structure of their new reports.
  • Challenge and guide stakeholders toward the best way to meet their needs and agree a clear scope of work to be delivered within achievable deadlines.
  • Oversee external development partner to apply global quality, accuracy and operational standards for reporting, leading best practice approach alongside Change Management and IS support teams to convert stakeholder goals into actions and maximise user experience, confidence and trust.
  • Complete and deliver personal workload to agreed timelines and standards.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Understanding of consumer trends.
  • Strong analytical and reporting background ideally within an FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge of SQL languages and BI Reporting platforms.
  • Strong client liaison and teamwork skills.
  • Experience presenting information in a clear and structured way that embraces engaging visualisations and compelling narrative.
  • Innovative and inventive mindset, challenging accepted approaches and finding creative and practical ways to continuously improve.
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at translating stakeholder requirements into technical details and technical details into insightful reporting.
Desirable
  • Building reports using Power BI and DAX.
  • JIRA.
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation.
