We’re looking for a dynamic Brand Executive to join us at Imperial Brands in our UK&I team, supporting the development and execution of initiatives across our brand portfolio.
Working closely with Brand Managers and a wider team of Brand Executives, you’ll play a pivotal role in translating brand strategies into actionable plans, assets, and toolkits.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Trade Marketing, Insights, Project Co‑ordinators, and external agencies to deliver initiatives that are insight-led, brand-consistent, and commercially effective.
Please note: This is a 2‑year fixed term contract position. Based at our Bristol Headquarters, you will work on a hybrid basis of 2 days per week in the office.
Principle Accountabilities
- Brand Strategy & Execution: Translate brand strategies into compelling guidelines and toolkits, analyse consumer insights to identify innovation and commercial opportunities. Support business case development and collaborate with creative agencies.
- Project Management & Alignment: Ensure timely delivery of brand assets and toolkits, contribute to innovation forums and governance processes. Align initiatives with project plans and commercial feasibility.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison across brand, comms, trade marketing, finance, and manufacturing.
- Integrated Brand Planning: Develop actionable brand plans aligned with trade and sales cycles. Set and monitor KPIs for brand and campaign performance.
- Insights & Consumer Knowledge: Leverage insights to shape brand strategies and post‑launch reviews. Recommend improvements based on performance analysis.
- External Collaboration: Partner with agencies to deliver marketing campaigns and D2C activity. Manage renewals and ensure brand consistency across markets.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in creative design and marketing.
- Experience in working on brand‑strategy‑led campaigns.
- FMCG brand/product experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Creative and lateral thinking with strong strategic and analytical skills; experience of using customer and market insight to drive commercial gain.
- Highly collaborative, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical skills and some strategic thinking to question and recommend brand strategies.
