About the Role
Guidant Global is working in partnership with Airbus to recruit an experienced Tools Development Engineer to support the successful industrialisation of jigs and tooling assets within a complex manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring tooling solutions are designed, developed, integrated and handed over seamlessly into operations. You'll collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Human Factors and external suppliers to deliver safe, compliant and efficient tooling solutions that support production excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across the full tooling lifecycle and wants to contribute to high-profile aerospace programmes.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Tools Development Engineer, you will:
- Lead the creation, development and modification of jigs and tooling assets, from initial request through to final acceptance and handover
- Translate requirements from Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Human Factors
