Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and updating instructions for manufacturing.
  • Tasks of designing, commissioning, and validating the associated tooling will be undertaken.
  • Assist in the industrial validation process by utilising tools such as FMEAs and FAIs.
  • Resolving any technical issues that may occur during the manufacturing process.
  • Route card changes because of rework activities.
  • Management of configuration control involves incorporating design modifications into the manufacturing instructions.
  • Utilise SAP to assist with the Non-Conformance Process.

What do you need?

Qualification Requirements:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard) AND
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 4 academic qualification (HNC, diploma, etc.) AND
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ) Not required if a L3 apprenticeship standard has been achieved OR
  • Degree in a relevant Engineering subject.

Additional Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge on analysing design drawings to produce manufacturing build instructions for skilled and semi-skilled operators.
  • Experience of Electronic Sub Assembly manufacture through to System level builds and experience and knowledge of the assembly process for small/miniature Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a diverse team and ability to read, analyse and interpret documents for accuracy and compliance with Code.
  • Must be able to work within and contribute to a team environment.
  • Have Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) training, SAP experience.
