On behalf of Bradford Children and Families Trust, we are recruiting an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the K & S - D & A Team 1 on a full-time locum basis. This is a key senior role within Children's Services, offering the opportunity to influence practice standards and drive positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families. This position is ideal for a highly skilled practitioner ready to lead by example, manage complex cases, and support the professional development of colleagues.
About the Role
- Manage and oversee complex child protection and safeguarding cases
- Provide high-level guidance and reflective supervision to Social Workers
- Model best practice and ensure high-quality assessments and care planning
- Contribute to strategy meetings, risk assessments, and court proceedings
- Maintain strong multi-agency working relationships
- Support service improvement and uphold statutory responsibilities

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
- Substantial post-qualification experience within Children's Services
- Strong background in child protection and safeguarding

- Confident report writing and court work experience
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced statutory environment
