Carbon60 is looking to recruit an experienced Gas Engineer to support gas safety checks, repairs, and maintenance activities across social housing properties in the Rotherham area.
ROLE: Gas Engineer
PAY RATE: £17.50 per hour
CONTRACT TYPE: ASAP - Aug | Temp to Perm | Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm
LOCATION: Swanage Court Jr 008405, Rotherham, S60 1BX
THE ROLE: The successful candidate will carry out gas safety inspections, servicing, and repairs within occupied social housing properties while delivering high levels of customer service and maintaining strict compliance with health safety procedures. This is a field-based role suited to qualified gas engineers who are confident working independently, managing workloads efficiently, and maintaining professional standards within domestic maintenance environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete gas safety checks, servicing, and repair works across domestic properties
- Deliver excellent customer service while working within tenanted homes
- Ensure all works are completed in line with current gas safety regulations and company procedures
- Work effectively with clients, tenants, and internal teams on a daily basis
- Support operational KPI targets and service delivery standards
