ROLE: Mechanical Supervisor
RATE: £31.50 per hour (Umbrella) - based on a 43-hour week (some flexibility depending on experience)
CONTRACT: 2 Years
LOCATION: St Mawgan, Newquay, UK
THE ROLE: You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical work packages on-site, ensuring delivery is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role focuses on managing subcontractors rather than direct labour, ensuring all activities align with project timelines and quality expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee mechanical work packages across the project
- Supervise subcontractors on-site, ensuring performance and productivity
- Ensure all work is completed in line with project specifications and deadlines
- Monitor quality, safety, and compliance with site procedures
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues
- Ensure all health safety standards and regulations are adhered to
- Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
