Acting as the main point of contact between suppliers and internal teams, you'll help protect production continuity, drive quality improvements, and contribute to a fully enabled, end-to-end supply chain. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of suppliers, collaborating transnationally with colleagues across procurement, quality, and operations.
What you'll be doing
- Managing supplier conformance and performance across the supply chain.
- Acting as the focal point for supplier quality and operational conformance activities.
- Ensuring immediate internal containment of supplier quality escapes identified within the plant or Final Assembly Line.
- Working directly with suppliers to implement effective containment actions at source.
- Leading root cause analysis and driving permanent corrective actions in collaboration with suppliers and the wider procurement community.
- Working closely with operational and quality teams to agree liability and confirm that corrective actions are robust and sustained.
- Monitoring and reporting supplier quality performance using KPIs and structured feedback.
- Supporting parts availability during quality events by working closely with the PIO function.
- Enabling customer protection for non-supplier liability issues during supply chain change.
- Supporting commercial teams with supplier claims by providing accurate cost data relating to containment activities.
- Collaborating with incoming inspection teams to initiate or remove high-rated inspections as required.
- Partnering with extended procurement teams to close non-occurrence events and quality system reviews.
- Driving continuous improvement opportunities across supplier performance, processes, and digital tools.
- Coordinating supplier working groups and contributing to world-class supply chain performance.

- Confidence engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to analyse issues, identify root causes, and drive effective corrective actions.
- A good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
No mandatory qualifications are required - this role values practical experience, clear communication, and the ability to influence positive outcomes.
