Guidant Global is recruiting on behalf of Airbus for an experienced Design Integrator to join the Wing Plant Engineering Team in Broughton.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting continuous product development and incremental improvements across Airbus wide‑body aircraft programmes.
Working at the interface between Engineering and Operations, you will drive improvement projects from concept through to delivery, helping to enhance product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate engineering improvement projects through the Airbus improvement process.
- Act as the primary interface between Engineering and Operations, ensuring effective collaboration and co‑design solutions.
- Support technical design investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage the development and implementation of design improvements with operational teams and engineering partners.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring objectives are achieved on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Drive improvements that reduce recurring and non‑recurring costs, operational disruption, and non‑conformances.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and manage changes to project plans where required.
- Support initiatives that improve team capability, efficiency, processes, and ways of working.
- Promote collaboration across functions, including Manufacturing Engineering and other key business areas.
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
- Design engineering experience within aerospace, manufacturing, or a similarly complex engineering environment.
- Strong project management and delivery experience.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and influence across teams.
- Experience working closely with both engineering and operational functions.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong problem‑solving capability and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a wider team.
- Experience managing risks, opportunities, and competing priorities.
- Demonstrable focus on delivering results against time, cost, and quality objectives.
