About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Conformance Engineer to join the Airbus Quality Development Programmes & Major Projects team at the Broughton site. This role offers hands-on involvement in complex quality investigations, preventative quality methods and aircraft modifications, while providing exposure to project management, APQP, quality standards, industrial system development and operational quality management. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong practical quality or inspection experience, ideally within aerospace or a closely related regulated industry.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Conformance Engineer, you will play a key role in driving quality excellence across production and development activities, ensuring product safety, process reliability and compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring full quality industrialisation of:
- Major and STEP aircraft modifications
- Incremental and full developments
- Major industrial transfers into serial manufacture
About You
We're looking for someone with strong practical quality experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment. You will ideally bring:
- A background in quality assurance, inspection or conformance engineering
- Practical experience within aerospace (automotive or other regulated manufacturing considered)
- Experience working with APQP, FMEA, PPV or control plans
- A confident, proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration
- The ability to work effectively on site and support live production environments
