BMS SERVICE ENGINEERCarbon60 is looking to recruit a BMS Service Engineer to work for our specialised industrial client Equans based in Greater London.
ROLE: BMS Engineer PAY RATE: £27.26/per hour PAYE CONTRACT TYPE: 3 Months contract (Potentially perm.) LOCATION: Greater London (will cover sites inside the M25) (this position will require SC/CTC Clearance) HOURS: 40:00 hours per week (flexible hours), Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM to 19:00 PMTHE ROLE: Main duties responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on Building Management Systems (BMS).
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults on BMS and HVAC control systems.
Install, configure, test, and commission BMS controllers, sensors, actuators, and associated equipment.
Work on Trend, Tridium (Niagara), Distech, Siemens and other BMS platforms.
Attend reactive breakdowns and participate in the on-call rota.
Perform software updates, minor programming modifications, and system optimisation.
Monitor system performance and recommend energy-saving or remedial improvements.
Prepare quotations and proposals for remedial or improvement works.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematic drawings.
Produce accurate service reports and technical documentation.
Provide technical support and maintain strong customer relationships.
