The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This role forms part of a distributed, global infrastructure team that is responsible for the continued availability and support of a hybrid on-premise and cloud infrastructure. Specifically, working within IT Strategy and Transformation, providing input to and delivering IT integrations to the Group, by drawing upon a wealth of practical and technical experience. The role will be expected to work within a fast-paced environment, with high degrees of ambiguity arising from a period of significant change.
Job Specific Skills Profile
- Demonstrate extensive experience working as a cloud/infrastructure engineer/senior engineer or in similar IT roles.
- Hands-on experience of having performed Exchange migrations between organisations or M365 migrations between tenants.
- Hands-on experience of having performed migrations of Windows Servers to Azure IaaS.
- Extensive experience working with common Microsoft cloud technologies such as Azure, M365, Azure AD & Intune.
- Extensive experience working with Windows desktop, including all levels of troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience working with cloud, server, desktop, network and telephony providers.
- Good knowledge of networking - Layer 2/3, dynamic routing, MPLS and firewall management.
- Good knowledge of IT security practices and the implementation of tools that provide MFA, DLP, proxy services, encryption, event logging and alerting.
Desirable Experience
- Able to package, script and deploy applications via SCCM including standard image build.
- Good knowledge of Citrix.
- Good knowledge of VMware.
- Experience with Email archiving solutions such as Mimecast or Enterprise Vault.
- Knowledge of identity management solutions such as Okta.
