Group Finance Manager (ACA / ACCA)

• Duration: 6 Months
• Rate: £700 per day (Inside IR35)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Group Finance Manager to join our high-profile Group Financial Reporting Team. This team is responsible for all external financial reporting for the Group and ensuring a timely, accurate monthly close process. You’ll play a key role in improving the efficiency of our reporting cycle and providing technical accounting guidance across the business, including involvement in acquisitions, disposals, and restructuring.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated results and internal reporting through the Group consolidation system (SAP FC).
• Deliver accurate and timely financial sections of year-end external reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide required information.
• Support financial accounting aspects of M&A activity, working with SSC and divisional teams.
• Apply IFRS across the Group and provide technical accounting guidance to divisions and service centres.

Skills & Experience

• ACA or ACCA qualified (ideally Big 4 background).
• Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge (M&A experience desirable).
• Strong group reporting experience such as, but not limited to revenue, leasing, pension, acquisitions and payments
• Proven experience in external reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, adaptable, and results-driven.
• Strong spreadsheet and IT skills.
