Workday Financials Programme Director – OUTSIDE IR35

Our client, a leading global financial services client, are recruiting for a Workday Financials Implementation Programme Director to join the team on a contract basis

Hybrid working and some european travel required

Role and experience:

• Support the overarching programme objectives of the Workday Financials implementation programme, with a European focus
• Experience working on a Workday Financials Implementation project on a global scale
• Work with local business and operational stakeholders to define and deliver the solution meeting business and operational priorities
• Proven ability to manage third-party systems integrators, internal teams, and external stakeholders
• Expertise in program governance, risk management, financial controls, and reporting
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-country rollouts, with an understanding of localization, statutory, tax, and compliance requirements across different regions.
• Ensure the strong delivery of the Workday Financials Programme on a global scale
• Exposure to additional Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Adaptive Planning) is a plus.
• Exposure to an ERP implementation within a SOX control environment is a plus.
