SRG are currently working with a growing manufacturing business looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support operations within a fast‑paced production environment. The role focuses on maximising equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with GMP, SOP, and Health & Safety standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
- Supporting breakdowns
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Assisting with machinery installation and improvement projects
You will work closely with the Engineering Manager and production teams, providing flexible support to meet operational targets.
Requirements:
- Time‑served engineer with recognised electrical apprenticeship, and/or qualification (e.g. HNC, HND, etc.)
- Skilled in Electrical and Mechanical maintenance experience, ideally holding 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Strong fault‑finding skills on PLCs, 3‑phase systems, motors, drives, sensors, and relays
