We're Impellam Group, a global leader in the provision of global workforce and specialist recruitment solutions, and we are looking to grow our People Support team in Luton!
Role Overview: As a People Operations Coordinator, you will provide a responsive, reliable, accurate, effective, friendly, and efficient administration service for all aspects of employee lifecycle activities across Impellam UK, while maintaining expected service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact and answer any email/telephone queries received from our colleagues across our different brand.
- Process letters for changes to employment terms and conditions.
- Produce and send contracts of employment.
- Check right to work documentation.
- Manage leavers, including liaison with payroll and cancelling benefits.
- Respond to reference requests.
- Maintain accurate employee information on our HR System.
- Deal with Maternity/Paternity Leave, Flexible Working Requests and provide advice on Probations and AWOLs.
- Resolve queries such as holidays, sickness absence, maternities, basic HR system queries, etc.
- Respond to other HR queries as appropriate, referring to the HR team members for advice where necessary.
- Manage sickness absence in line with internal processes, liaising with businesses and Payroll as appropriate.
- Generate correspondence and deal with incoming and outgoing post.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience of working within an HR administration role.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Practical mindset when it comes to prioritising workload.
- GDPR compliant.
- Capable of working on own projects and taking responsibility for workload.
