We're supporting a leading financial institution in their search for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major technology transformation programme. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact change initiatives across banking, payments, trading and treasury environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse and manage complex business requirements
  • Facilitate workshops and engage senior stakeholders
  • Produce process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Drive discovery, current-state and future-state analysis
  • Support product backlog refinement and prioritisation
  • Conduct impact assessments and identify risks and dependencies
  • Collaborate across business, technology and delivery teams to drive successful outcomes

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex change programmes, projects or products
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within Banking and Payments, with exposure to Trading, Investment Banking and/or Treasury
  • Strong requirements management, process modelling and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working across Agile, Waterfall and Product delivery environments
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills

Desirable Experience

  • Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM), including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Detection and Sanctions Screening solutions
  • Data Business Analysis, including data requirements, data modelling, data quality, data lineage, reporting and analytics
  • Experience in loan valuation, asset-backed securities, collateral management and risk modelling
  • Experience within financial markets, securities settlement or market infrastructure, including CREST and post-trade processes
  • CRM transformation programmes, covering customer, stakeholder and operational process improvement initiatives
