Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a skilled API Automation Engineer with strong experience in Rest API testing in Java to join our London-based team. The ideal candidate would have experience working with Cloud Technologies and Streams-process platforms.
This role will be via Umbrella, working in a Hybrid Model of 2 days a week on site.
Key Skills and Experience
- Rest API automation testing in Java
- Java library and framework: Lombok, Spring Boot
- Stub testing experience: yaml, wiremock or Mockito, SOAP API testing
- Programming languages experience in OOP: Java or C#
- Tools used: Cucumber Gherkin, Postman (Bruno), Junit
- CI/CD integration with Gitlab/Jenkins
- Git version control: Gitlab/GitHub
- Experience in JIRA or any issue tracking system
- Agile methodologies and exposure to BDD methods
- Banking/Financial services domains experience
Highly Desirable
- Experienced with any of the following:
- Cloud technologies AWS modules: CloudWatch (logging), Athena, EC2, Lambda, storage (S3, EBS), databases (RDS, DynamoDB)
- Stream-processing platform: Kafka, webhook, protos
- Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have)
