Hybrid Working – London – 3 days a week on site. Lorien's leading Investment client is looking for a Junior Investment Analyst to join our Policyholder Investment office team in the Asset Management function. This role will be via Umbrella.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and delivery of investment strategy, performance, portfolio construction, and manager change as it relates to Policyholder Funds.
- Assist in stakeholder management to include representation at governance forums, committees, and independent oversight bodies as required.
- Work with and support the Head of Portfolio Management and the wider team in delivering optimal policyholder outcomes across With Profits.
- Collaborate with Asset Management colleagues on areas such as Investment Strategy/Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) implementation, performance analysis, and integration of Sustainability and ESG.
Key Requirements:
- Broad understanding of all investment management, investment operations, regulatory environment, evolution, policyholder outcomes, and product types.
- Knowledge of investment markets, investment strategy, and fund management methodologies as they apply to With Profits.
- Understanding of asset classes across equities, fixed income, and alternatives (illiquid) and their application.
- Experience interacting with stakeholders across multiple disciplines (e.g., Actuarial, Finance, Operations, and Risk).
- Some progress in a relevant professional qualification (or willingness to pursue) and/or applicable work experience.
- Experience working within Middle Office environments.
