An investment bank is seeking an Infrastructure Support Analyst to provide technical support for end-users to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across VDI, Desktop Computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Working closely with the support team, you will maintain Windows 11 and MS 365 applications and security software to ensure smooth trading operations.
Salary: £50,000 + bonus
Location: 5 days onsite in the City of London (Weekly shift rotation between 6:30 am-6 pm). We will only be considering applications with a notice period of 1 month or less due to the urgency of this hire.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a desktop support (minimum 3 years)
- Strong knowledge and experience of desktop operating systems, hardware, and software (Win 11, MS 365/office suite, VDI, Exchange online, Citrix)
- Familiarity with endpoint security software and antivirus firewalls
- Comfort with a stakeholder-facing role, where you interact with end-users in person, over the phone, and remotely
- Willingness to provide out-of-hours support as needed to meet project deadlines and support business operations
- Proactive ability to propose solutions for troubleshooting trends or gaps of risk/improvement
