Job Title: Finance Assistant – Service to Cash – 12 Month FTC
Base Location: This role is based out of the Glasgow office which is located in close proximity to Glasgow Airport. The role would be working in a hybrid model looking at 3 days a week in the office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior finance assistant, to join on a 12-month FTC for a world-renowned Aviation business.

You will be joining a very friendly and engaging team of finance professionals, gaining the exposure to work closely with other centre of excellence finance teams, such as financial controls, Tax, and Treasury.
What will you be doing?
On a day-to-day basis this role will include:
- Working as part of the team to processing and maintaining Retail Concessionaire accounts.
- Performing reconciliations between various systems and interface with the Retail Account managers based at Heathrow Airport support the team in Glasgow in the day to day and month end activities ensuring consistent high levels of performance.
- Pro-actively engaging with the business to resolve any queries and ensure process compliance.
- Actively working with teams across the business to identify and implement process improvements.
- Recording all incoming data accurately in Heathrow systems to provide a traceable record of documents and actions.
- Ensuring exceptional professional and compliance standards are maintained.
What will you need to do it?
- You will need to have some experience of working in a Finance team. Knowledge of retail finance is desirable but full training can be provided in role
- Demonstrable skill in effectively interacting with stakeholders, with strong written and verbal skills and good interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong ability to organise, plan, and work according to priorities and deadlines.
