We’re currently looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team in Fareham. This is a key role focused on estimating small works and complex electrical tenders, ensuring compliance, safety, and commercial viability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Estimating electrical projects from £100k to £2m
- Preparing detailed scopes of work and cost breakdowns
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Supporting project managers with variation costs and site surveys
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical regulations and codes
- Attending site meetings and coordinating with other contractors
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on estimating activity
Who You’ll Work With
- Reporting to the Operations Director and senior leadership
- Collaborating with Electrical & Mechanical Operations Managers
- Leading junior estimators, engineers, and site teams
- Working closely with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in electrical estimating within building services
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills
