Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Platform Integration Architect to join them. As Platform Integration Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between a major financial institution's enterprise architecture tooling platform and other enterprise systems. This role ensures seamless data flow across the architecture ecosystem, enabling automated synchronization, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
You will work with RESTful APIs, data transformation logic, and integration middleware to connect architecture tooling platforms (including BiZZdesign Enterprise Studio etc.) with portfolio management tools, databases, and business intelligence systems. This technical role requires strong integration development skills combined with an understanding of enterprise architecture data models and business context.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience with RESTful API development, consumption, and integration patterns
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar)
- Understanding of data formats and transformation (JSON, XML, CSV) and associated libraries
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data extraction and loading
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture tooling platforms and their data models
- Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, API tokens, service accounts)
- Understanding of scheduling tools and job orchestration
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in integration development, API development, or related technical roles
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining integrations between enterprise applications
- Track record of troubleshooting complex integration issues and implementing solutions
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments with understanding of ITIL or similar frameworks
- Background in financial services or regulated industries desirable
- Client-facing consulting experience advantageous
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with BiZZdesign Enterprise Studio Open API or similar EA platform APIs
- Knowledge of Planview, ServiceNow, or CMDB platforms and their integration capabilities
- Familiarity with ArchiMate or other enterprise architecture frameworks
- Experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus)
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud-native integration services
