We’re looking for an experienced Technical Scrum Master to join a high-performing technology team within a major banking client, supporting a digital mortgage platform. This is a delivery-focused role where you’ll play a critical part in driving agile best practices, enabling teams, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across a modern tech stack.
The Role
- Lead and facilitate 2-week sprint cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Drive delivery across features and roadmap commitments
- Work closely with multiple Scrum teams to ensure alignment and dependencies are managed
- Act as a true Agile practitioner, embedding best practices and continuous improvement
- Balance servant leadership with delivery ownership (approx. 50/50 split)
- Support teams working on the online mortgage channel, ensuring smooth product delivery

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and delivery practices
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
- Exposure to banking or financial services (preferred, not essential)
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
Working Pattern
- Hybrid model – 1 day per week onsite
- London: flexible (often Friday availability)
- Edinburgh: typically, Wednesdays
- Collaboration across distributed teams
