About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with experience within Corporate functions, particularly Facilities to play a key role in driving value, improving supplier performance, and supporting a strategic approach to third-party spend across the organisation. You will lead sourcing strategies, deliver commercial value, mitigate supply risk, and partner closely with stakeholders across the business. You’ll help shape and implement procurement strategy while ensuring best-in-class governance, compliance, and supplier performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategic Procurement
- Support the Head of Procurement in developing annual category plans and long-term roadmaps.
- Partner with stakeholders and finance teams to build insight-led sourcing strategies.
- Lead category sourcing activity, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Own key procurement metrics, including cost savings and payment terms.
- Identify and drive opportunities for cost reduction, revenue generation, and operational efficiency.
- Deliver procurement projects that support risk mitigation and value creation.
- Build strong strategic relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Provide commercial challenge, market insight and help shape business decisions.
- Manage supplier performance using MI, KPIs and SRM best practice.
- Leverage procurement systems (including SAP Ariba) for MI, reporting and contract management.
- Conduct spend analysis to enable robust commercial decision-making.
- Champion procurement policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
About You
- Skills, Experience & Knowledge
- Strong experience across full lifecycle procurement, sourcing and category management.
- Background in Corporate / Indirect Procurement, especially Facilities or Event / venues.
- Proven ability to manage spend from £5m.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Experience delivering value through supplier relationship management and MI.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Curious, commercially-minded and driven to deliver value.
- Strong emotional intelligence; able to influence at all levels.
- Resilient, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
