This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager looking to build and grow a career in sales.

Whether you have B2B sales experience already or are looking to step up from an SDR or entry-level role, we will give you the training, tools and support to succeed.

As a BDM, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging and closing new business opportunities across the UK and Ireland automotive retail market.

This is a 100% new business role.

You will benefit from pre-qualified meetings set by our SDR and develop your own pipeline of prospects.

This is a fully home based role.

You will be out in the field regularly, building genuine relationships, presenting tailored AI solutions, and helping dealerships solve real problems around customer engagement and conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and outreach: identify and engage potential clients across the automotive sector via calls, emails, Linked In and networking events.
  • Client meetings: conduct face-to-face and virtual sales presentations showcasing Impel’s AI-powered solutions.
  • Consultative selling: understand customer needs and demonstrate how Impel’s technology solves their business challenges.
  • Pipeline management: maintain accurate records of sales activity and forecasts within our CRM.
  • Negotiation and closing: drive deals through the pipeline, manage objections and finalise contracts.
  • Market insight: stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and evolving customer demands.
  • What We Are Looking For
  • 1+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in automotive, Saa S or digital marketing.
  • A driven individual with a hunter mentality, proactive in building your own pipeline.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in engaging C-level decision-makers including Group MDs, GMs and Finance Directors.
  • A quick learner who is comfortable with new technologies and can adapt to a fast-moving environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for in-person meetings, including overnight stays as required.

This is a home based role with regular field-based travel to client sites across the UK and Ireland.
