An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a major transformation programme. This role will lead the delivery of a Business Acceptance transformation programme, modernising how new clients and matters are onboarded while ensuring compliance with key regulatory requirements including conflicts, AML, sanctions screening and client due diligence. The programme will involve the migration from legacy systems to a modern cloud based legal platform such as Intapp (or a similar solution), alongside process improvement to enhance governance, efficiency and compliance. This is a business critical programme requiring close collaboration with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end to end delivery of a Business Acceptance transformation programme within a legal environment.
- Manage the migration of legal applications from on premises to cloud based platforms such as Intapp or similar.
- Improve and redesign processes covering: Conflict checks, AML and KYC, Sanctions screening, Client onboarding and matter opening.
- Identify and mitigate compliance and audit risks while strengthening governance.
- Work closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance and IT stakeholders to define requirements and deliver successful outcomes.
- Manage implementation, testing, data migration and go live activities.
- Maintain project governance including RAID logs, reporting and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate third party suppliers where required.
- Facilitate workshops and build alignment across senior stakeholders.
- Support business change, user adoption and successful transition to new processes.
Essential
- Proven Project Management experience within a law firm or legal services environment.
- Experience delivering legal technology projects involving platforms such as Intapp, Elite, iManage or similar.
- Experience delivering cloud migration or legacy application replacement programmes.
- Strong understanding of legal Business Acceptance and Risk.
