As a senior research consultant, you’ll be an authority on the trends pushing our industry forward, engaging with those driving these trends.
Working within this role will give you insight into the most exciting developments in life science innovation, from medicines R&D to health equity, and artificial intelligence to health geopolitics. You’ll often be speaking with senior executives responsible for making change happen, providing critical strategic insights to transform our clients’ businesses.

your responsibilities
- Lead elements of Impatient Health’s strategy for original research, working closely with company directors and the research and consulting teams;
- Take ownership of research projects, from design to delivery, ensuring outputs directly address client challenges and create successful outcomes;
- Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research and bring them together into clear, cohesive and actionable findings;
- Synthesize and communicate research insights in persuasive and innovative ways;
- Evolve our methods, tools and techniques for research, ensuring best practice across the team;
- Support junior colleagues with guidance and mentoring;
- Contribute to business development and proposals to grow our client base;
- Ad-hoc responsibilities as they come – as a small, close-knit team, we all rely on one another to achieve our shared goals.

- You are a strategic research thinker, with a clear set of ideas and opinions about the craft as it continues to evolve;
- You have strong knowledge of diverse research methods, balancing pragmatism and rigour to draw insights from qualitative and quantitative data and primary/secondary sources;
- You have a natural ability to turn data into compelling narratives and present them persuasively;
- You understand the pharma industry, from full product life cycle to understanding how life sciences companies function
- You are a highly effective communicator, confident in engaging senior leaders both internally and externally;
- You are committed to ethical research methods and ensure they are embedded in your work;

- Strong experience delivering research projects in pharma, life sciences or healthcare;
- A proven track record of supporting business development and project proposals;

- A collaborative nature, alongside the confidence to work independently and take ownership of key deliverables;
