As Principal of Parkfield Primary School at The Elliot Foundation , you will lead the next stage of the school’s journey. Working alongside pupils, staff, families and The Elliot Foundation, you’ll create an environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve their potential.
Parkfield is a vibrant and inclusive primary school serving over 460 children aged 2 to 11 in one of North West London’s most diverse communities. With above-average pupil mobility and many families joining the school throughout the year, success comes from understanding the community you serve, building trust and creating a strong sense of belonging.
You’ll lead the school’s strategic direction while remaining closely connected to day-to-day school life. From strengthening teaching, learning and curriculum, to developing future leaders, building partnerships with families and ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive, you’ll play a visible role across every aspect of the school.
The school has worked hard to strengthen its curriculum, leadership and culture in recent years. You’ll inherit a committed staff team, experienced leaders and strong foundations to build on. As part of The Elliot Foundation, you’ll be supported by an experienced Regional Director and specialist colleagues across curriculum, SEND, safeguarding, HR, finance and estates, giving you the backing of a collaborative network while retaining the autonomy to lead your school.
about you
You’re an experienced primary school leader who understands that lasting improvement is built through relationships, consistency and high expectations.
You take time to understand the children, families and community you serve before deciding what needs to change. You’re as comfortable developing staff and future leaders as you are improving teaching, learning and outcomes, and you recognise that investing in people is fundamental to helping children succeed.
You’ll bring empathy, resilience and sound judgement, with the confidence to balance support and challenge while leading with integrity. You’re committed to creating an inclusive culture where every child feels they belong, and you’ll embrace Parkfield’s Therapeutic Thinking approach, recognising the importance of relationships, empathy and consistency in helping children flourish.
Above all, you believe great school leadership starts by putting children first. If you’re looking for the opportunity to lead a school with a strong sense of purpose, supported by a Trust that values collaboration while respecting each school’s unique identity, we’d love to hear from you.
