About this Role
This is a pivotal and varied role at the heart of Better Society Capital’s Investment Partnerships & Advisory team. The team provides essential support and tools to investors to help them allocate more money to tackling social issues. As an Investment Partnerships & Advisory Officer, you will be the dependable engine room for investor relations and regulated advisory work, maintaining sharp communications, watertight compliance records, and consistent investor engagement. The role is suited for someone who is exceptionally organised, a confident writer, and comfortable working in close proximity to FCA-regulated activity. As Better Society Capital implements its 2026 strategy and works to mobilise billions of additional investor capital, this Officer will help ensure that investor communications, compliance records, and engagement operate to a consistently high standard. The position reports to the Investment Partnerships and Advisory Director and requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Administer regulatory procedures such as financial promotions and partner due diligence
- Provide compliance monitoring support
- Draft and distribute regular investor and advisory newsletters
- Support the creation of thought leadership pieces and investor FAQs
- Maintain and update the CRM system (Salesforce)
- Monitor news and regulatory developments for engagement triggers and maintain engagement plans
- Support the production of high-quality financial reporting and investor communication materials, including presentations and case studies
- Manage responses to due diligence and other ad hoc investor requests
- Create investor briefing notes, summarise meetings, and ensure follow-up actions are completed
- Oversee the team’s events calendar and attendance, including sourcing relevant events
- Secure and prepare for speaking opportunities
- Plan and facilitate the smooth running of Better Society Capital-hosted investor-facing events
- Coordinate and engage with the steering committee for the Future Impact Finance (FIF) network
- Onboard new network members and maintain membership records and mailing lists
- Provide logistical support for FIF network and Investment Partnerships & Advisory events
- Manage Better Society Capital’s strategic support relationships and act as a liaison point across the organisation
- Provide general team administration and keep shared sites and records up to date
- Help oversee the progression of data and AI projects for the team
- Participate in at least one ‘Better Society Capital Citizenship’ activity
Requirements
- Some experience in investor relations support, or in compliance/regulatory administration within or for an FCA-authorised firm
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines and keep accurate records
- Confident written communication, including the ability to turn raw input into clear case studies and briefing materials
- Sound judgement when handling regulated, sensitive, or confidential information
- Comfortable working with a CRM (Salesforce preferred) and with AI tools (Claude)
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a methodical approach to recurring processes
- Clear and confident communicator, able to adapt tone for investor and stakeholder audiences
- Discreet and reliable, comfortable owning compliance-sensitive work with limited supervision
- Proactive and collaborative, with the initiative to spot gaps and follow up without being asked

- Existing right to work in the UK for the duration of employment
- Desirable: Exposure to an investment company or vehicle (regulatory announcements, investor reporting, or due diligence responses)
