About Capital Dynamics

Capital Dynamics is an independent global asset management firm established in 1988, focusing on private assets including private equity and clean energy investments. The firm oversees more than USD 15 billion in assets under management and advisement, with approximately 150 professionals distributed across 14 offices located in Europe, North America, and Asia. The company has established itself as a recognized industry leader in responsible investment, holding Five Star PRI ratings across all categories and strategies, and achieving strong GRESB benchmarking results for its clean energy strategy. Capital Dynamics operates with significant expertise in clean energy infrastructure, positioning itself as one of the largest UK onshore wind operators and holding one of the largest subsidy‑free solar PV portfolios in Europe. The firm enhances its operational capabilities through NetroEnergy Limited, its dedicated asset management affiliate that provides specialized management services for its clean energy investments. The company’s commitment to responsible investment practices is demonstrated through its consistent achievement of top‑tier environmental, social, and governance ratings and benchmarking results, reflecting its dedication to sustainable business practices and stakeholder accountability.

About this Role

Capital Dynamics’ Product Development & Strategy (PDS) team is responsible for launching every product on the firm’s platform and owns several critical strategic initiatives, including its ESG programme. Clean Energy sits at the centre of the firm’s growth strategy, with significant operations in onshore wind and subsidy‑free solar PV across Europe. The firm is seeking a Senior Product Manager with genuine presence and gravitas to represent the growing Clean Energy investment business. This individual will be equally comfortable in a boardroom with senior leadership and presenting to institutional investors. This is a senior, highly visible role built around influence rather than headcount management. The successful candidate will be supported by one junior team member, with impact derived from the calibre of thinking, strength of relationships, and ability to influence investment committees, colleagues, and prospective limited partners rather than from team size. The role requires deep knowledge of clean energy infrastructure equity and debt markets, meaningful existing relationships with investors in the sector, and the ability to quickly understand a complex, fast‑moving business. Working closely with the Clean Energy Investment team, the Senior Product Manager will cultivate prospective investors, deepen relationships with the established client base, analyse the LP market for new capital opportunities, and drive original product innovation for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, launch, and coordination of creative marketing strategies for clean energy investment products, aligned with fundraising goals and processes
  • Take full responsibility for the compilation of fund offering documents and due diligence materials

  • Analyse the LP market to identify potential clean energy infrastructure investors and shape engagement approaches
  • Act as first point of contact for the sales team, prioritizing requests and resource allocation, and serving as the interface between sales and the investment management team
  • Manage the creation of client communications, reports, and investment summaries, partnering closely with client relations and investment management
  • Lead the integration of ESG initiatives into all Clean Energy products
  • Oversee production of the annual Clean Energy sustainability report and other bespoke reporting
  • Coordinate regular updates to all client‑facing materials, including the due diligence data site, funds track record, and company website
  • Conduct and update competitor analysis in collaboration with research and investment management
  • Create bespoke materials for roadshows, events, and conferences, representing Capital Dynamics with credibility at senior industry gatherings

Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years in a similar Private Equity Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, or Clean Energy investments product development and/or investor relations leadership role, ideally at a buy-side firm
  • Proven experience managing the launch of a minimum of two clean energy, renewables, or infrastructure funds or products
  • Excellent technical financial knowledge and analytical ability, including financial ratios such as IRR, NPV, and dividend yield
  • Proven, process‑oriented project management ability
  • Deep track record of writing top‑quality, high‑impact professional presentations, using original ideas where necessary
  • Mature, creative, solutions‑oriented thinking with a genuine “driver” personality and the gravitas to represent the business externally
  • Ability to write and edit content with a very high degree of precision and exceptional attention to detail across own work and others’
  • Comfortable operating with minimal supervision or structure, functioning as a self‑starter capable of running high‑impact initiatives without a large team
  • Willingness to work in a performance‑driven, high‑pressure environment
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Minimum 2:1 degree from a recognised university in Business, Finance, Responsible Investment, Renewable Energy, or a related field
