About this Role We are looking to hire a Responsible Investment Associate to align with the key pillars of the Responsible Investment Capabilities team. This role involves executing client management across L&G’s responsible investment and stewardship initiatives. You will help advance our market-leading responsible investment proposition to fulfill commercial aims while delivering top-tier client outcomes. The role requires developing expertise in L&G’s investment and stewardship orientation, including engagement and voting processes. There will also be a focus on supporting client engagement through the preparation of tailored content for various communications such as RFPs, DDQs, reports, and media inquiries. This offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-quality presentations and case studies, aimed at aligning with distribution requirements. The Associate will provide data-driven insights for both routine and special reporting tasks on voting and engagement activities. Advocacy in building expertise across investment frameworks, methodologies, and processes is key, alongside participating in governance initiatives and sustainability committees.
Responsibilities
- Develop a robust understanding of L&G’s responsible investment and stewardship strategies.
- Draft materials and deliver precise, tailored content for meetings, RFPs, DDQs, reports, and media inquiries.
- Create high-quality presentations and standardized responses for distribution needs.
- Provide insights and analysis on voting and engagement activities for various reporting.
- Build expertise in responsible investment frameworks and processes.
- Enhance internally owned responsible investment methodologies.
- Conduct research and analysis on regulatory, market, client, and sustainability themes.
- Contribute to governance and infrastructure projects by improving data usage.
Requirements
- Investments knowledge with an emphasis on sustainable investing concepts.
