For Companies Our client is currently looking for a Metal Polisher to strengthen the existing team.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Polishing finished components to a range of standards including standard eighty-grit belt finish to sateen, super sateen and mirror.
- Use polishing equipment to polish radius of components.
- Use inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, PI tapes and CMM or Faro.
- Inspection of goods in, goods out, sub contract work and all purchased parts.
- In process and finished goods inspection.
- Signing first and last inspection reports.
- Reporting of non-conforming parts.
- Entering technical data on to computer spread sheet package.
Person Specification
- Proven experience in a similar role or relevant field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings.
- Familiarity with tooling, hand tools, and equipment used in polishing and fabrication processes.
Shifts
Monday to Thursday, 07:00 – 16:45
