We are currently seeking an experienced forklift operator to join a busy warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and general warehousing duties.
Duties:
- Operate counterbalance forklifts to load and unload racks and deliveries
- Scanning products into the system and updating the computer system
- Manage shipping and receiving processes efficiently
- Checking labels prior to dispatch
- Working in goods in and goods out
- Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory
Experience:
- Valid counterbalance fork lift licence refreshed within the last 3 years
- Experience of operating a forklift and working in a warehouse
- Ability to carry out thorough checks on stock
- Able to communicate across all levels of the business
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for inventory control
Hours of Operation:
Working alternative shifts, Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 then 14:00 - 22:00. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right person.
