We are working with a fantastic school who have been using us to support their recruitment efforts for many years to find an enthusiastic EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is at a SEN School located in the borough of Lambeth, and they are looking to secure a strong, experienced EYFS/KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant with proven experience supporting children with Autism, sensory needs, and additional complex learning difficulties, learning at EYFS.
Responsibilities
- The ideal SEN KS1 Autism rolefor this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
- Ability to manage behavior and promote positive classroom environments.
- Skills in teaching phonics, reading, and early writing techniques.
- The SEN Teaching Assistant appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
Qualifications/Experience
- You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, to be eligible for this role.
- To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
