A rewarding opportunity is available for a SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting Secondary students with Autism. The role involves working closely with verbal and non-verbal pupils in an inclusive classroom, supporting sensory needs and communication development. Familiarity with PECS.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school. Familiarity with conditions such as autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities. Experience in collaborating with parents, carers, and support staff. The SEN Teaching Assistant appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.

Qualifications/Experience

You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, to be eligible for this role. To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
