Join us as a SEN Teacher Autism in an SEN School. We are working with a fantastic school that has partnered with us for many years to support their recruitment. They are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team. The school is looking for a strong, qualified (QTS or QTLS) SEN Teacher with proven experience teaching children with Autism, sensory needs, and additional complex learning difficulties.
Responsibilities:
- Patience and ability to manage sensory challenges and meltdowns.
- Skilled in fostering communication and social interaction.
- Familiarity with play-based learning and child development strategies.
- Proficiency in creating engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.
Qualifications / Experience:
- You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
- Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
- To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
