Responsibilities

  • The General Supply Teacher appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, following the plans and resources provided by the school.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different pupils and classroom environments.
  • The successful General Supply Teacher will be expected to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.

Qualifications/Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position, you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
