SEN school seeking a SEN Teacher to work with Primary and Secondary students with Autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs. QTS or QTLS required. Experience in supporting multi-needs students essential.

Responsibilities

  • The successful SEN Teacher will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and participate in parent evenings.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to explore new ideas that contribute to the development of a learning culture in the school.
  • Experience in implementing strategies to support emotional well-being.
  • Proficiency in creating nurturing and trauma-informed classrooms.

Qualifications / Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • You will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
