We are seeking a Primary Teacher with expertise in supporting children with autism. This role involves delivering tailored educational plans and creating an inclusive environment for children with autism. The successful candidate will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure each child can engage with the curriculum and develop key social and academic skills. Patience, adaptability, and specialized teaching strategies are essential to this role.

The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school. The expectations for this role include being confident in the key competencies of their subject area and having a broad knowledge base and understanding of the curriculum requirements to guide student learning. It is important that the teacher hired is able to analyse assessment data and use it to inform lesson planning and structure. The appointed teacher will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.

You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role. Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job. To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
