Join us as an ARP Teacher in an SEN School. An SEN school is looking for a dedicated ARP Teacher to support both Primary and Secondary students within its Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP). The ideal candidate will hold QTS or QTLS and have experience working with children with Autism, sensory needs, complex learning difficulties, and SEMH needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in creating visual schedules and task analysis.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
- Experience in implementing strategies to support emotional well-being.
Qualifications/Experience:
- You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
- Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
- To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
