Join Us as a Learning Mentor SEN PMLD in an SEN School. An exciting opportunity for a SEN TA, LSA, or Learning Mentor to support students with PMLD. You will work closely with pupils to meet their complex learning, sensory, and physical needs, helping them access education in a safe and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure students continuously challenge themselves to improve.
  • Establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • Have a strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
  • Experience in implementing strategies to support emotional well-being.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification.
  • Must be, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent.
  • Must have proven classroom experience or training.
