We are recruiting a SEN Teacher to support children with SEMH needs. Qualified teachers (QTS) with experience in Autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health challenges are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- The successful SEN Teacher SEMH will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parent's evenings.
- The ideal SEN Teacher SEMH for this role will demonstrate a willingness to explore new ideas that contribute to the development of a learning culture in the school.
- Experience in implementing strategies to support emotional well-being.
- Proficiency in creating nurturing and trauma-informed classrooms.
Qualifications/Experience
- You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
- Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
- To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
