General Manager – Building Materials Start-Up (Cement Trading) An exciting opportunity for a commercially focused entrepreneurial General Manager to lead a new start-up cement trading business has arisen. The position is based in Middlesborough. The start-up is well-backed and profitable, having been operating for three months. There is a strong client base and real opportunities to develop and grow this. In this role, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the project and driving the business forward. You will oversee commercial activities – making sales, winning new business, maintaining client relationships, and managing logistics and back office functions. Personal Requirements: Previous experience in the building materials industry is a must; experience within the cement industry is preferred.
