Impact Student Partners is a Non-Medical Helper (NMH) Provider that specialises in supporting students with disabilities including SpLD's, Mental Health Conditions and Neurodiversity. We partner with Higher Education institutions such as Universities and Colleges across the UK.
The role involves recruiting Specialist Mentors & Study Skills Tutors (ASC) based in and around London who can offer a hybrid approach to supporting students with Autism, providing both online and in-person support.
Responsibilities (Specialist Mentor ASC):
- Supporting students during their studies and helping them to develop effective learning strategies including understanding university expectations, structure, organisation and routines, communication with academics and peers, managing overwhelm and sensory overload, navigating university systems and adjustments, and managing stress and anxiety.
Experience and qualifications (Specialist Mentor ASC):
- Understanding Neurodiversity and Mental Health Conditions and how they may impact a student as part of their studies.
- Essential to hold a degree and training in Autism such as the National Autistic Society (NAS) Modules; Optymum Student Support Training; Onyx Student Support Training; Spectrum First Training.

Responsibilities (Specialist Study Skills Tutor ASC):
- Supporting students during their studies and helping them to develop effective learning strategies including understanding assignment expectations, structuring essays and coursework, managing academic reading, executive functioning for coursework, academic writing skills, notetaking and processing information, and support for exams and assessments.
Experience and qualifications (Specialist Study Skills Tutor ASC):
- Essential to hold a University degree.
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, AFHEA, Cert Ed, DELTA or a relevant professional body membership with BDA, PASSHE, PATOSS, ADSHE or Dyslexia Guild.
- Training in Autism such as the NAS Modules; Optymum Student Support Training; Onyx Student Support Training; Spectrum First Training.

Pay and benefits (Both Roles):
- Employed on a temporary basis with the flexibility to support as many students as desired.
